Make a Million for Make-A-Wish |
|
Place: Statewide, Oregon and Clark County, Washington
Chapter:
Make-A-Wish Foundation®
of Oregon
In its 12th and final year, the Make a Million campaign was a heartfelt effort involving businesses, schools, organizations, families, and individuals working together to raise funds for wish children. Donations were given directly to the chapter via deposits made at any U.S. Bank in the donation area throughout the month of March. Generous donors called phone banks during local pledge drives, and gave online via the chapter Web site. People contributed Alaska Airlines miles directly to the chapter via the Web site or by calling the office or pledge lines. The results were a wish come true! The event raised enough funds to grant more than 23 wishes, including Alexandra’s wish to visit Hollywood, California.
