Complex West.

Festival 2004 |

Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina
This popular festival attracted 1,500 wine
aficionados. The UAW-GM logo was etched on
commemorative wineglasses received by all
participants. Numerous employees from co-sponsor
Bradshaw Chevrolet in Greer attended the event,
including the owner and several sales people.
Prizes were dinners for two at a fine restaurant
and a trip to Napa Valley.

Walk for Wishes 2004 |

Southern Maine
About 600 people ready to walk for area wish
children attended this fourth annual event.
It was a great success, and it has grown tremendously
over the past three years. Three local GM
dealers contributed to the walk, including
Emerson Chevrolet, Harold C. Ralph Chevrolet
and Weir's Motor Sales. A lucky wish child
even got to ride in the convertibleprovided
by Weir's Motor Salesthat lead the walk.

Detroit Wish Ball 2004 |

Detroit, Michigan
This black-tie event included cocktails, dinner,
entertainment and a silent and live auction.
Co-chaired by Richard Shoemaker, vice president
and director, UAW General Motors Dept., and
John Buttermore, vice president, manufacturing
and labor relations General Motors Corporation,
the festive night raised hundreds of thousands
of dollars to grant the wishes of local wish
children.

Annual Sports Banquet & Auction |

Davie, Florida
Approximately 600 partygoers turned out for
this popular event at the Signature Grand.
Several local GM dealers also joined the party,
including Williamson Cadillac, Brickell Motors,
Maroone Auto Plaza and Maroone Chevrolet of
Greenacres.

2004 Lansing Walk for Wishes |

Lansing, Michigan
This third annual event was attended by approximately
250 walk lovers, who joined together to help
support the wish children of their local chapter.
The 10K walk began and ended at the auditorium
on Michigan State University's campus and
featured food, beverages and a special guest
appearance by Sparty, the university's mascot.
The event raised enough funds to help grant
the wish of Spencer, 5, who met some of his
favorite Disney characters at Walt Disney
World® Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Pontiac, Michigan
Having fun making and tasting chili benefited
more than the local chili aficionados. The
GM Pre-production Operations Powertrain Engineering
Center in Pontiac donated the funds raised
from the cook-off event and a silent auction
to help local wish kids. The funds helped
grant the wish of Brandon, 6, from Wixom,
Michigan who visited Walt Disney World Resort®,
Universal Studios, Animal Kingdom®
and SeaWorld.

Pontiac, Michigan
The folks at GM Die Engineering Services combined
bowling and raising funds for local wish children.
At the event, they collected donations and
pledges as well as enjoyed camaraderie, pizza
and soda. Their generosity helped send wish
child Morgan, 7, from Brighton, Michigan on
a Caribbean cruise.

The Pontiac Assembly Center squared off against
the Orion Assembly Center in an exciting bowling
challenge that helped raise enough funds to
grant the wish of Sarah,
6, who wanted to go to Hawaii.
